I'm going to share with you my favourite beauty secret, but you can't tell anyone! I love body scrubs, but they are expensive and some are a little too 'rough' so I make my own body scrub using coconut oil. It's easy to make and it smells delicious!
Begin by melting 1/2 cup of coconut oil over very low heat. Put 1 cup of brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Pour the melted coconut oil over the brown sugar and stir well. Now you can add five drops of essential oil, I usually use chamomile or frankincense. If you don't have essential oils you can use five drops of vanilla extract. You will have to fight the urge to eat this combination! Now just use it like a normal scrub and seal the rest in an air tight container in a cool, dark place.
Coconut oil leaves your skin feeling nourished and looking younger. It makes your hair shiny and soft. So head to the store and stock up on coconut oil before the secret gets out and the shelves are bare!
