An old Ukrainian variety of millet that was originally grown by our founder Alvin Scheresky. We still grow this millet today for its beautiful colour and flavour.
This variety has been grown in the same climate for over 20 years so it is considered a landrace variety. This specific type of millet cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
The Millet is stoneground, slow and steady. This ensures the flour is not heated, therefore keeping the nutritional value intact. The flour is then run through a sifter to emulsify the oils back into the bran which aids in longer shelf life.
