German Chocolate Cake

Yield:
Ingredients
1c rolled oats
1 1/3c boiling water
Stir together, let sit for 5 minutes then add
1c cocoa powder
In a separate bowl, mix together:
1 1/4c cane sugar
1/2c coconut oil
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/3c spelt flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325F.  Add cocoa/oat mixture to above and stir.  Bake in a 9x13 pan for 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.  Once cooled, sprinkle with shredded coconut and nuts(optional).  Mix 1/4c cream with 3/4c brown sugar and pour on top of cake.  Broil until brown - watch closely so it doesn't burn.  Enjoy!
