Yield: One cake
Ingredients
Base:3 cups Unbleached Stoneground flour
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 cup cane sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
Topping:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze:
2 cups icing sugar
5 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9x13 baking pan. Mix the base ingredients together with the exception of the butter. Add melted butter last, then pour into greased pan. In a separate bowl combine the topping ingredients, mix well. Pour evenly over entire base. With a butter knife swirl the topping into the base. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. While the cake is baking prepare the glaze. Remove cake from oven and glaze while warm.
