Cinnamon Spelt Crackers

Cinnamon Spelt Crackers
1.5 cup Spelt flour
1/2 cup cold water
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp ground almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
extra cinnamon for sprinkling
cane sugar for sprinkling (optional)

Set your oven to 400F and off you go!

Start off by dissolving the salt into the cold water. Once dissolved, add in the vanilla.

In another bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, and ground almonds.

Next up, bring it all together and give it a good knead.

You will need lots of flour on your surface to roll out the dough as thin as possible.

Cut parchment paper to size and place on the backside of a cookie sheet.

Its handy to score your rolled out dough into the sized pieces you will want with a pizza cutter.

Poke holes with a fork in each cracker.

Spritz your crackers with water and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Pop into the oven for 10 minutes. After 10, you will want to watch them closely! Will take nearly 20 minutes.

Once you pull them out give them a sprinkle of cane sugar to sweeten the deal!
