Breadsticks

Dough:

2-21/4 cups Unbleached flour

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp oil

1 tsp cane sugar

1 tbsp yeast

1 cup warm water

Seasoning:

Oil for brushing 

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Parmesan cheese 

Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. It's ready to go when it has become nice and frothy.

Mix remaining dough ingredients and let stand, covered with towel, for 20 minutes. 

The next bit depends on how many/how big you want your breadsticks. For the ones in the photo we pulled off chunks of dough about the size you would for a cookie.

Rolled it out like a play-doh snake :)

Once you have all of your bread sticks ready, brush with olive oil and sprinkle on the spices + cheese.

Bake at 450 F for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on pan before taking off.
